Chasing Authenticity

I've been trying to live by the Dr. Seuss quote, above.

I don't think that it is a coincidence that I keep coming across Brené Brown's work and words. I'm certain that some of the bloggers who I follow have mentioned her in their posts recently, and last night after watching the first instalment of The Kennedys, I came across a PBS special showcasing Brown and her research.

Today, I spent a bit of time researching her, including listening to this provocative TED talk that she gave on "The Power of Vulnerability."

I desperately want to speak, write and live my truth. But I feel like I've got a hell of a long way to go to get there.

Maybe Brené can help. I don't know her very well yet, but I already really like her. A lot.
